'My Life, My Choice Foot Care Project'
Poor foot care in older people can lead to poorer mobility, a lack of confidence and greater chance of falls. As well as improving well-being and independence, the project has helped to reach minority groups, prevent falls, and reduce foot pain. This in turn has helped to alleviate the burden on NHS Podiatry services.

Adult & Community Services (ACS) annual awards are sponsored by IT systems provider OLM without whose support the event could not take place.
