Frances (aged 64 years) lives with her husband David at their home in Exmouth.  They have lived at their home for over 30 years and for the last 12 years Frances has been caring for David who has Multiple Sclerosis.

Frances had been cutting her own toe nails but had been struggling to do so as she has a bad back and even on one occasion whilst trying to cut her own toe nails ended up cutting her toe.  She saw an article in the Carers Link Newsletter and called to book an appointment.

“I knew that I shouldn’t really be trying to cut my own toe nails any more once I had cut my foot and I couldn’t afford to go and see a chiropodist and so I was really pleased when I saw the article about the My Life My Choice toe nail cutting service.”

Frances now visits Glass House Lane in Exeter every six weeks and really enjoys the service.  “I have been caring for my husband for over 12 years and this is the first thing that I have ever done for me.  Thirty minutes of sitting down and having a little bit of pampering.  It is great and my feet feel fantastic!”
